Camacho Corojo Toro
$7.65 – $152.99
This line is 100% genuine Corojo. It has been slowly aged to create a refined and smooth flavor profile one would
associate with a Corojo. But with a Camacho twist – they have amped up the richness and intensity using a high-
grade, fifth priming wrapper leaf and grown with a seed that’s been perfected for over 40 years.
Kyle –
This beautiful stick was firm and had a great leather/cedar smell to it. Needless to say, I was excited to burn this bad boy down.
After I lit it up, the first thing I noticed was it was not as “harsh” in taste as I thought it would be. In fact, I found the flavors quite enjoyable. It had a phenomenal draw and it had the creamy texture I was used to from my lighter cigars. However, instead of a vanilla and nut flavor, my taste buds were greeted by a deep caramel and sweet wood. There was also a pepper taste left on my palate between draws, not a black pepper, but a different, more subtle spice that I can’t quite lay my finger on.
As I continued to smoke, dark chocolate teased my palate in addition to a nice leather. Occasionally, a hint of brown sugar or a cola flavor – except less sweet – would peak out only to be mellowed out by the peppery tingle that was left. The thick smoke continued throughout my session as the cigar burned down evenly. The cigar finished with a black coffee note that was shadowing over the caramel and sweet wood that was still present.
